Decide where each service can be ordered from: the New Order page, the customer API, the Mass Order page, or any combination.
What it is
Not every service suits every channel. Channel switches let you keep a service panel-only, API-only for resellers, or exclude it from mass ordering.
How it works
- Open the Advance popup of a service and switch Panel Order, API Order and Mass Order on or off; all three are on by default.
- With Panel Order off the service cannot be ordered from the New Order page.
- With API Order off, API calls for that service are refused with a generic not-found reply, so resellers never learn it exists.
- With Mass Order off the service does not appear in the Mass Order picker.
- The admin Orders page has an Order Channel filter so you can see which channel each order came through.
