Provider balances are checked hourly in the background; when one drops below your USD threshold an email alert is sent to the admin address.
What it is
Running out of provider balance means failed orders and angry customers. The alert warns you before that happens.
How it works
- Every active provider is checked about once an hour; the balance is fetched from the provider API and converted to USD.
- Set the threshold under Settings > Notifications, Provider Low Balance Threshold (USD).
- When a balance falls below the threshold for the first time, the Provider Low Balance email is sent to your admin email address.
- The alert is sent once per dip; after the balance recovers it is re-armed, so you are warned again the next time it drops.
- Switch the Provider Low Balance template off under Notifications if you do not want the emails.
